We’re very excited and honored to announce that Hector Torres, the Founder of WP-MONITOR, has been invited to speak at WordCamp Miami 2014. This is a yearly event hosted by WordPress.org in an effort to educate WordPress beginners as well as advanced WordPress users.

Even though the official main event is on May 9-11 at the University of Miami, Hector will also be speaking at the Beginner’s Workshop on April 19th at Nova University in Broward County. During the main event, Hector will be speaking at the Explorer’s Track on May 1th at the University of Miami.

The topics that Hector will be discussing at the WordPress Beginner’s Workshop and Explorer Track are:

a) WordPress Themes (Discussion about trusted sources of getting WordPress themes, best practices, widgets, menus, header images, background images, and more)

b) Plugins (Best practices for plugins, “must-have” plugins, and how to use WordPress beyond a blogging platform)
